Our Story

Hi, I’m Ashley! I'm the founder of Cozy Chapters Society, a wife to my husband Josh, a mom to two incredible boys, Greyson and Ledger, and a dog mom to our mini Australian Shepherd, Willow. Our family also includes two turtles named Turtley and Albert (yes, Albert is short for Albert Einstein) because apparently we never learned how to say no to pets ha!

Like many moms, my days are filled with work, school activities, practices, appointments, and trying to keep up with everything life throws our way. Somewhere along the way, I lost touch with one of my favorite hobbies: reading. 

On March 26, 2025, I made the decision to become alcohol-free and started building a life that felt more intentional, more peaceful, and more joyful.

One of the biggest surprises?

I fell back in love with reading.

Psychological thrillers quickly became my obsession, and reading became my favorite way to unwind, and the cozy moments surrounding books became something I genuinely looked forward to every day.

Before long I had an ever-growing TBR list, a Libby hold list that was completely out of control, and strong opinions about fictional people who don't actually exist.

Reading reminded me that joy doesn't have to be complicated. Sometimes it's a cozy blanket, an iced coffee, and a story you can't put down. What started as a way to fill my time quickly became something much more—a source of comfort, joy, and countless cozy moments I looked forward to each day.

Cozy Chapters Society was created from that experience.

I created this shop for readers who love cozy vibes, getting emotionally attached to fictional characters, iced coffee, audiobooks, highlighting quotes they'll never recover from, and believing that buying one more book is always justified.

My hope is that Cozy Chapters Society brings a little extra comfort, joy, and coziness to your reading life.
